Trafford Home Choice is the way people apply for social and affordable housing in Trafford. It is run by Trafford Council Housing Options Service (HOST) and works with Registered Providers. Trafford Council does not own any housing stock. All homes advertised through Trafford Home Choice are owned and managed by Registered Providers.

Trafford Home Choice is a choice-based lettings system. This means homes are advertised online and people can choose which homes they want to apply for.

Homes are offered based on housing need, eligibility, and whether the property is suitable for the household. People with more urgent housing needs may be offered homes sooner.

If you need help using the system, support is available. This includes help for people who have a disability, health condition, or difficulty using the internet. You can contact the HOST to ask about support.
